"Audimatic, just for my people"

Below is a clip I'd like to share as I introduce to you a new project that I'm very excited about! I am going to be producing a full album for BBAS member The Audible Doctor, aka AMD. The idea came about as we were reflecting on some of the most classic albums. Our goal is to bring back the continuity of hip hop albums past.

One emcee, one producer.

We go by Audimatic.

This clip was the premiere of our first track called 'The Colors' on the Main Ingredient Show with DJ Kingstun.

We hope you enjoy and look out for the Audimatic full-length album coming in 2010!

Who's Next?

NYC's biggest Hip Hop radio station Hot97 has a page on their website dedicated to promoting/featuring new talent, and my friends of the Brown Bag All Stars have been featured here!

Also featured is the track I produced for BBAS called “Dumbin’ Out.” I am very proud of this song as it continues to appear on the internet and is receiving support. Take a look at the feature and vote for the tracks. Spread good music!

The Grand Prize.

I entered a remix contest via Indaba Music this past May. The project called for artists to remix John Legend's "If You're Out There." Those that finished in the top 10 of the entries would receive an autographed copy of his album "Evolver."

I gave it to her
(aka John Legend's biggest fan).

Also, I will be spinning here this friday, Oct. 23rd...I will see you all then!

Pimps Don't Pay Taxes

J-Zone is an emcee/producer/DJ who's beats sound nothing like anything you’ve ever heard before, and is one of my musical influences. Here is J’s bio and discography, check this track here to get a sampling.

We share a few common interests: camo cargo shorts (who’s brand will remain nameless), our infinite admiration for a living, breathing, rappin’ pimp named Suga Free, and we also tend to share a few unpopular music opinions which is the basis for this post.

See for yourself, go check out J-Zone’s blog here. Whether you agree or disagree with his points of view, it’s always a good read and great for discussion.

Rewind...
